1. What MatchForge Is — Personal Safety & Due Diligence
MatchForge is a personal safety and basic due diligence tool for adults making informed decisions about people they may meet through dating or social platforms.
You upload screenshots of publicly visible dating profiles — the same information any user with an account on that platform could ordinarily see. MatchForge performs AI-assisted analysis for authenticity, compatibility, and safety signals.
MatchForge is decision-support software — not a dating service, licensed background-check provider, or source of ground truth. We do not access private databases or assume non-public information.
2. Your Input — Public and User-Shared Sources Only
You may only upload publicly visible profile screens, information shared with you directly, or your own optional profile details. You represent that you have a lawful personal reason to analyze this material for your own safety — not harassment or commercial exploitation.
3. Self-Hosted and Hosted Deployments
- Self-hosted: You control your infrastructure and data.
- Hosted: We operate your account environment; AI may use configured cloud models (e.g. xAI Grok). We do not sell your data.
4. Your Responsibilities
Use MatchForge for personal safety and due diligence only. Comply with law and platform Terms of Service. Verify conclusions yourself before meeting anyone. Do not scrape, doxx, or publicly shame people based on scores.
5. AI Limitations — Read Carefully
All scores are probabilistic estimates. AI can miss real risks or flag innocent profiles. MatchForge does not guarantee accuracy and does not replace your judgment or common-sense safety practices.
Catfish and authenticity detection is probabilistic — always verify yourself.
6. No Liability for Outcomes or Safety Incidents
To the fullest extent permitted by law, operators are not liable for dating outcomes, meetings, safety incidents, or decisions based on AI outputs. Service provided "as is".
7. Public Social Enrichment
Where enabled, only publicly available information may supplement your analysis — never private DMs or proprietary databases.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Delete individual profile workups anytime from the dashboard. We encourage removing data when due diligence is complete. Account deletion is available per our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes, Governing Law & PIPEDA
Material changes use a new version number. Governed by the laws of Canada. Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA — see our Privacy Policy.
